Field and Study Market in the countryside

If you haven’t yet visited the monthly Field and Study Market, then you are seriously missing out! This relaxed open-air market takes place under the trees alongside the Braamfontein spruit – with loads of space for children and dogs to play. All 70 stands have been carefully curated to include local handcrafted items, gourmet food, beverages and live music.

Why go ?

This is a magical family day out, there is no entry fee, and there is loads of free parking available. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash, plus there is a large play area where kids can run and climb and play to their hearts’ content.

We Recommend:

Take your time! This is a market that allows you to slow down, savour delicious coffee while browsing through the stalls before buying fresh produce to take home with you. This is also a lovely spot to buy unique gifts and meet friends for a long lazy catch up. Take your picnic blanket and enjoy a chilled start to the weekend.
