Plastic bags soon to be banned at Sandton City and other local malls
According to Business Insider South Africa, Liberty Two Degrees (L2D), which owns some of South Africa’s top shopping malls, will implement a ‘no plastic shopping bag’ policy by 1 January 2020. Almost 2,000 tenants at Sandton City, Nelson Mandela Square, Melrose Arch and the Eastgate complex may be affected. Read more.
